Wild Bowl

I’m obsessed with Sweet Green. If you don’t know about this “salad place” yet, it’s locally sourced, healthy, seasonal fare that’s always inspired. None more so than their latest “Harvest Bowl”, a mix of kale, sweet potatoes, chicken, goat cheese, apples, almonds and wild rice tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette. After days of Disney debauchery, it’s necessary to get my back on track so I recreated their concoction at home and, I have to say, it was pretty darn close, really good and super easy.

For shortcuts, pick up a prepared chicken breast, instant rice, heck even sweet potato, and toss it all together with chopped red apples, slivered almonds and goat cheese. I made mine more rice bowl, less salad, sprinkling in some kale and went easy on the (fat free) dressing.
