I’m a sucker for a good pair of rain boots. I won’t tell you how many I own because you might judge me but, suffice it to say, I could live in London. Or Seattle. Or send some to people in each location and still be covered here. My daughter has inherited her mother’s obsession and prefers her wellies to any other footwear. Every day, it’s a struggle to get her out of her boots for bed, try to convince her to wear her ballet shoes to ballet, sneakers to the playground. The girl would live in her galoshes if I let her.

Last year, before we’d even launched and I was still having fun over on tumblr, I created a post about the best fall boots for your buck, including a pair of Joules. Since then, I’ve become much more versed in retail and fallen even deeper in love with the British brand. Their extensive collection, quality and cuteness of rain gear is second to none (including this jacket that I own, love and get tons of compliments on). Beyond that, they have really cool clothes for women, men and children and a homeware line. I love their mix of patterns, bright, cheerful colors and price point. It’s a one-stop, chic shop.
