Lilly’s 4th Christmas

Each year just gets more special. Watching the holiday season, my favorite, through her eyes is such a joy. This year, she really got into it. No tears for Santa (a first!), decorating the tree almost on her own, compiling a list of things she really wanted, ice skating, which I never thought she’d do, like a champ… So much fun! Hope your holidays were special too.

Several rounds of baking and decorating cookies. I even went to her class to help them do the same, which did not go over so well. At home, Lilly helps me with everything. At school, everyone had a turn and her mommy helped them. Cue the meltdowns.

When my family and I visited NYC (from Philadelphia) during the holidays and went to shows, including Radio City, my sister and I got our pictures taken by these same ornaments and toy soldiers.

Faux Christmas morning with Nonna and Pa since we’d be with Zach’s family on the 25th. She got a dollhouse! As I said on Instagram, I asked for one for years from my parents and never got it. Figures that at 3, they get their granddaughter the full deal.

Every time I turned around, she was at the table, licking icing off of someone else’s house.
