Lilly’s 4th Christmas
Each year just gets more special. Watching the holiday season, my favorite, through her eyes is such a joy. This year, she really got into it. No tears for Santa (a first!), decorating the tree almost on her own, compiling a list of things she really wanted, ice skating, which I never thought she’d do, like a champ… So much fun! Hope your holidays were special too.
Getting and decorating our Christmas tree.
Several rounds of baking and decorating cookies. I even went to her class to help them do the same, which did not go over so well. At home, Lilly helps me with everything. At school, everyone had a turn and her mommy helped them. Cue the meltdowns.
Ice skating for the first time.
Seeing Santa for a second time…
Stockings served as sleeping bags for her pals.
Out to brunch and to the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular with Nonna.
When my family and I visited NYC (from Philadelphia) during the holidays and went to shows, including Radio City, my sister and I got our pictures taken by these same ornaments and toy soldiers.
Faux Christmas morning with Nonna and Pa since we’d be with Zach’s family on the 25th. She got a dollhouse! As I said on Instagram, I asked for one for years from my parents and never got it. Figures that at 3, they get their granddaughter the full deal.
And, after seeing the movie, Trolls were on her list.
Gingerbread decorating with friends.
An appropriate gift from our Red Fox family.
Every time I turned around, she was at the table, licking icing off of someone else’s house.
Pooped.
