About Me

I started this site (originally titled Nat's Next Adventure) as a choose my own adventure blog, based on the books I loved as a child. Readers weighed in on everything from what trip I went on and how I decorated my home, to what party I planned and what I wore to an event. Since then, Instagram created a poll button and made my life much easier. Now, my followers vote, in real time, right on that platform. And while I still love lifestyle posts and will continue to feature them, my main passion is the stories I share.

Whether it's about having a difficult time making friends, surviving a toxic work environment or identity crisis, suffering a miscarriage, struggling to breastfeed, being mom shamed or living with depression, I write about my experiences. Because in truth, we find connection. And what's the point of life without that?

Over the last six years, thanks to this site and Instagram, I've formed the most amazing community of women. And we get through life together. Whether we're having a laugh, a good cry, offering advice, sharing resources, raising money or venting about what it takes to be a human these days, we do it by each other's (virtual) side.

I've made strong friendships with so many of you that I've never even met in person. You've watched my kids grow, my business change and my mental health tested. You've been my refuge and one of the greatest surprises of my life and career. This site, my platform and countless opportunities would not have been possible without you.

So thank you. Thank you for allowing me into your lives. Thank you for putting up with my nonsense, crying with me in my car and trying to read my lips while listening to me on mute as you breastfeed your baby or lie next to your snoring husband. Thank you for cheering me on through every obstacle and lifting me up and helping me laugh when I needed it more than you know. I'm so lucky to have you. I hope I've given at least a fraction back of what you've given to me.
